Canadian Beat Scene (CBSp)/publishing and the Canadian Beat Poets were previously known as the Canadian Poetry Association, (CPA).

The CPA was 'put on hold' after its 25th anniversary.  I was president and wanted it to continue so after a discussion with Accesscopyright, Library & Archives Canada, it was agreed by them,  to join the two.

​

CBS was instructed to keep the ISBN & ISSN and the title of the magazine POEMATA, identifying me, Donna Allard, as the new owner/founder.  *small (f) means I am not an original Founder. The original Founders remain and will be included on the Canadian Beat Poets Official Website in the near future.

The Canadian Beat Scene & the Canadian Beat Poets is affiliated with the USA National Beat Poetry Foundation Inc.
